New CEO to lead strategy for innovative games technology company.

31st January 2007, Cambridge, UK. Geomerics today announced the appointment of industry stalwart Gary Lewis in the role of CEO. Lewis has been selected for his outstanding performance with Take Two together with his undisputed ability to define and implement winning business strategies in the fast-moving videogame industry.

Gary Lewis joins Geomerics following eight years at Take-Two (NASDAQ: TTWO), a leading worldwide publisher, developer and distributor of interactive entertainment software, hardware and accessories. Lewis most recently held the position of Global Chief Operating Officer, based in New York; previously, he spent three years as President of International, operating out of the UK.

Following Lewis' appointment, founder Dr Chris Doran will move from CEO to Chief Operating Officer. He commented, “Appointing a CEO has been a major priority for us and we’re delighted that Gary has joined us. People of his calibre are few and far between. His vision, experience and clear-thinking will be invaluable to the success of Geomerics."
