Test Tools Lead

Location: Cambridge, UK
Salary: £25k to £40k plus an extensive benefits package. We will consider higher salaries for exceptionally qualified applicants
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible

Primary Role

As part of Geomerics continued growth, we are now looking to appoint a Test Tools Lead who can take responsibility for testing the Enlighten SDK.

The suitable candidate will be required to define and implement a comprehensive test tool strategy. Working closely with the Product Owner and technical team the role is responsible for selecting and managing the tools necessary to perform effective unit, system, performance, regression and automation testing activities.

The successful candidate will have experience of testing software development kits. Experience of working in an Agile environments is also beneficial as is experience of developing automation and unit tests for 3d graphical products.

Responsibilities

• Development of an automated test suite for the SDK
• Formulate a test strategy and associated processes/tools.
• Assist with creation and management of suitable test environments
• Assist other test analysts with system, performance and regression testing

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

• C++ and scripting Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to track issues, estimate, prioritise and balance requirements under pressure

Experience/Education

• Degree level education or equivalent industry experience
